Logan Samuels is a college junior pursuing a Bachelor's Degree as a dual major in Communication Arts and English (Literature) with a self-developed minor in Leadership, and is a member of the Honors Program at Hood College in Frederick, Maryland. Logan aspires to attend graduate school after receiving her undergraduate degree, most likely as a dual-degree candidate for a Juris Doctorate of Law and an M.A. in Communications/Journalism.
Logan currently serves as News Editor on the Editorial Board of her school newspaper, "The Blue and Grey" and is the Public Relations Chair on the executive board of the Student Government Association. Logan is the vice-president of her campus' Hillel program and the Executive Secretary/Traditions Chair/Historian of SAS (Sisters Aspiring to Success). She is the Vice-President of PRSSA (The Public Relations Student Society of America) and maintains a job as a writing tutor through CAAR at Hood College. Logan also dances for the Hood Dance Ensemble.
Logan will be spending her summer completing a Davis Peace Prize Project entitled, "Writing the Wrong" and doing research at Hood College as the team leader for ECAP (Excellence in College Admissions Preparation) under the direction of Dr. Diane Oliver and Dr. Kathleen Bands.
